Davao City is served by Francisco Bangoy International Airport (DVO), which is conveniently located within the city limits.
There are daily flights to Davao City from major cities around the world. Please check with your preferred airline for available flight options.
For guests coming from abroad, we want to remind you that you need to complete the entry and exit requirements of the Bureau of Immigration in the Philippines. You have to complete the Arrival and Departure Form within 72 hours before your arrival in the Philippines or before your departure from your point of exit. This can be done by visiting the etravel website or by downloading the app via AppStore or Google Play.
For guests who will take domestic flights, you can book your tickets through airline companies such as Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and Air Asia. The flight schedules may vary depending on your departure location. If you need assistance with travel arrangements, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

We are delighted to inform you that our wedding venue is located at Discovery Samal, a charming resort on the Island Garden City of Samal, which is just a short boat ride from Davao City. Your journey to the venue will depend on where you’re staying, so here are some options to consider:
Upon your arrival at the airport, we can arrange for a van to transport you to Discovery Samal’s Davao Welcome Center. From there, you will take a scheduled boat trip to the resort, a quick journey of about 8 to 10 minutes.
Transportation options may vary depending on your accommodation. We strongly advise consulting with your resort in advance to understand their specific travel arrangements. Some resorts offer private transfers directly from the airport, while others may have transfers from their welcome centers. We are also here to assist you with these details if needed.
If you have booked with the hotels or AirBNB rentals in Davao city, we recommend riding the taxi. It is best if you download the Grab app — a taxi hailing application that accepts payment via credit cards or in cash. You can also take the airport taxis, but they can be more expensive than using Grab.

Please make your way directly to the Divine Chapel before the ceremony begins. This will ensure that you are comfortably seated in time.
You can use local public transportation to go to Discovery Samal. The resorts we recommended in our “Where to Stay” guide are less than five minutes away from the wedding venue. Take note that the Grab app is not available in Samal Island. The primary mode of public transportation is tricycle.
Guests staying in hotels or Airbnb rentals in Davao City should head to the Discovery Samal Davao Welcome Center on the day of our wedding. We have arranged for a private boat transfer to take you to the venue. Please arrive punctually to avoid any delays. The catamaran can accommodate around fifty people.
